Tyler Rudd Putman is a Ph.D. candidate in the History of American Civilization Program in the Department of History at the University of Delaware. He has worked as a historical interpreter at Colonial Michilimackinac and sailed aboard the whaleship Charles W. Morgan and across the Atlantic aboard the Corwith Cramer.
