Timothy C. Hemmis

Timothy C. Hemmis

Timothy C. Hemmis is Assistant Professor of History with a specialization in Early American History at Texas A&M University–Central Texas, Killeen, Texas. His research focuses on empire, identity, war and society in Revolutionary America (1750-1815). He is also a Regional Coordinator for the Society for Military History for the Southwest United States. He is currently working on a biography of the first and only Geographer of the United States, Thomas Hutchins.
