Rick Britton

Rick Britton (rickbritton.com) is an award-winning author and historian. With over 200 articles under his belt—the vast majority on the history of Virginia—Rick is also the author of Albemarle & Charlottesville: An Illustrated History and Jefferson: A Monticello Sampler (which was awarded a bronze medal at New York City’s Book Expo). He also teaches classes on the history of Albemarle County, conducts Civil War battlefield tours, hand illustrates maps for history books, and is a frequent radio commentator.
