James P. Sieradzki is an attorney in private practice in Clifton, New Jersey. He has been an amateur historian and Revolutionary War living history reenactor for over forty years. He researched and recreated Pulaski’s Independent Legion and has participated in public reenactment events as well as presentations to various historical and community organizations, including chapters of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution and the United States Military Academy West Point. His current research focus is on New Jersey in the Revolutionary War, particularly the role and accurate portrayal of militia.
