David K. Wilson is an American Revolutionary War scholar and researcher. He is the author of The Southern Strategy: Britain’s Conquest of South Carolina and Georgia, 1775-1783 (University of South Carolina Press), which was named a finalist for the Army Historical Foundation’s Distinguished Writing Award. His historical research has been featured by Oxford University Press, the Smithsonian Channel, and in various academic anthologies. Wilson holds an M.A. in history from the University of Texas at Arlington.
