Our work has been featured by the New York Times, TIME magazine, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian, Mental Floss, NPR, and more. Journal of the American Revolution also produces annual hardcover volumes, a branded book series, and the podcast, Dispatches

Mark your calendars!

The RevWar Schmoozer (Boston) event is confirmed for Friday, November 8, upstairs at The Point (147 Hanover St.) from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The space is reserved exclusively for this event. Join fellow history professionals and amateurs for a fun evening of sipping, schmoozing and storytelling.

Historians, authors, museum execs, publishers, literary agents, tour guides, professors, students and enthusiasts are all welcome! It will be an informal networking event for the local history crowd, plus we will be toasting the launch of the collector’s print edition of Journal of the American Revolution.

This history schmoozer will be cash bar and much like an informal tweet-up with like-minded folks converging on the same spot at the same time for some quality RevWar camaraderie.

Thanks for spreading the word and hope to see you there!

  • Hey Dave! No need to RSVP — just show up early and you’re in. Very casual and very fun. The Point (upstairs) capacity is about 150. I imagine there will be a steady revolving door of history buffs coming and going all evening, so I’m not worried about exceeding 150. If we do, we’ll simply take over both floors. See you Nov. 8!

  • Our organization is the Sons of the American Revolution and very interested in your event. I will be letting my members know and I will be there for sure. Since we are direct descendants from our Patriots of the American Revolution we are very interested in any real effort to keep the AR prominent and factual. We do a lot of work in the schools giving lectures and making sure that the kids today learn how fantastic and interesting their Patriot Ancestors were and what they did to insure our Freedoms and Independence.
    See you there.
