William Taylor

William Taylor

William Harrison Taylor earned his Ph.D. from Mississippi State University and is currently an associate professor of history at Alabama State University. Primarily his research concentrates on the religious history of the Anglo-American world during the long eighteenth-century. He is the author of Unity in Christ and Country: American Presbyterians in the Revolutionary Era, 1758-1801 (University of Alabama Press, 2017) as well as the co-editor of Faith and Slavery in the Presbyterian Diaspora (Lehigh University Press, 2016). Currently, he is researching the contours and implications of anti-Catholic sentiment during the American Revolution.
