William Caldwell is a graduate of North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina and currently a graduate student at Clemson University. He has been a professional Historic Interpreter since 2008 including service with county historical societies, North Carolina State Historic Sites, and the National Park Service, all focusing on the mid-to-late eighteenth century in the southern colonies. William is the Interpretive Ranger on the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail; a 330-mile motor route stretching across Virginia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas shadowing the trail used by Patriots to the Battle of Kings Mountain.
