Sheilah Vance

Sheilah Vance

A lifelong resident of the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, area, Sheilah Vance is a practicing attorney and author of three novels, including Becoming Valley Forge, which won the award for Regional Fiction, 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, and three non-fiction books, including Six Days in December: General George Washington’s and the Continental Army’s Encampment on Rebel Hill, December 13–19, 1777. She has a J.D. from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Communications from Howard University. A member of the Friends of Valley Forge, she speaks extensively about the Philadelphia Campaign of the Revolutionary War. Visit her at www.becomingvalleyforge.com.
