Samuel K. Fore studied history at the University of South Carolina and, after an eight-plus year stint in the U.S. Army, returned for a graduate degree in librarianship. He has held special collections librarian positions at the South Caroliniana Library and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library of Colonial Williamsburg before becoming the Curator of the Harlan Crow Library. Additionally, Mr. Fore has received post graduate certification in European & American book history from the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School and has authored several articles concerning the era of the American Revolution.
