Phillip R. Giffin

Phil Giffin grew up in Oregon and worked for 25 years in international marketing and 9 years teaching high school social studies. He has a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University,1965; Captaincy US Army Ordnance, 1966-68; and an MAT from George Fox University, 2001. He is a freelance writer with several published articles, see: Vancouver B.C. Sun, Saturday Review “Letters from Flanders 1914-18” (11/07/1998); Journal Manitoba History “Annie’s War” (06/2007). He is retired and working in Baggs, Wyoming, transcribing, researching, and writing a series of essays and a book based on unpublished family papers (the Diary and the Record book of Sergeant Simon Giffin 1777-1783).
