When California native and former Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Jonathan House relocated to Washington DC, he discovered a passion for American history. He is particularly interested in researching and writing about the experiences of women during the American Revolution. In addition to Mercy Otis Warren, he has written about Grace Galloway, the author of a famous Loyalist diary, and the Baroness Frederika Charlotte Riedesel, who left a vivid memoir of her experiences during the Battles of Saratoga. Jonathan currently works as a research editor for a leading geopolitical risk firm in Washington.
