John Ferling

John Ferling

John Ferling taught American history for forty years, mostly at the University of West Georgia. He is the author of numerous books on Colonial America, the American Revolution, and the Early Republic. His books include biographies of George Washington and John Adams, Almost a Miracle, a history of the War of Independence, and Whirlwind, a history of the American Revolution. His most recent book is Winning Independence: The Decisive Years of the Revolutionary War, 1778-1781 (Bloomsbury Press).
