John Knight is the author of War at Saber Point: Banastre Tarleton and the British Legion. He was educated at Warwick University where he gained a joint honours degree in American History/Politics. He was a Fine Art Valuer for a number of London-based Auction Houses including Christie's and Bonhams before changing career and taking up writing and lecturing full time. He splits his time between homes in Nottingham, England and Dutchess County, New York.
