Jaume Sastre Moll

Jaume Sastre Moll

Jaume Sastre Moll was born in Palma de Mallorca (1947) and received his Doctorate in History at the Universidad de Les Illes Balears in 1987. He taught at that university and is now an emeritus professor there. Dr. Sastre has authored many academic works on the medieval period and is recognized as a leading scholar on the medieval Balearic Isles, which include Minorca and Mallorca. He is a member of the Institut Menorqui d’Estudis section on archeology and history. He has received numerous prizes for his work in that area, which comprises an extensive published bibliography in his field of study.
