Jane Green is a retired member of the Senior Intelligence Service at the Central Intelligence Agency whose career focused on military and security issues. US Government officials, including the president, received and acted upon her work. Her hometown is Terre Haute, Indiana. She earned a B. A. in political science at Indiana University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She now resides in Annapolis, Maryland, where genealogical research combined with learning about the town’s role in the creation of the United States reinspired her interest in US history. The online magazine Annapolis Discovered has published her articles on aspects of Maryland's colonial heritage.
