Gerald Krieger is an independent scholar with a doctorate in international relations and degrees in history and strategic studies. He retired from the US Army after 30 years of service. He writes about military conflict and cooperation between Native Americans and European colonial powers, specifically the Revolutionary Era and the Early Republic, demonstrating enduring links among strategy, operations, and tactics. Gerald has published several articles on military history and international relations. Current projects include the Battle of Cowpens and a book about Benedict Arnold.
