Matt Novosad works a Librarian and serves as the Municipal Historian for the Town of Franklin, Connecticut. As both an undergraduate and graduate student, he studied at the University of Connecticut where he earned a Bachelors in Maritime Studies in 2018, and a Masters in History in 2022. Additionally, he serves as President of the Franklin Historical Society and is a board-member of the Ashbel Woodward Museum. In all of this work, he is dedicated towards understanding the ways in which local history connects to national and international subjects.
