Linda J. Rice, Ph.D. is James S. Reid / Standard Products Professor of Humanities and Professor of English at Ohio University. She specializes in the preparation of future high school English teachers and regularly incorporates historical texts and primary sources in her teaching. Linda is the author of more than 25 publications, including two books, 10 chapters for edited books, and numerous journal articles. Prior to teaching at the university, Linda taught high school for ten years and earned National Board Certification. Currently she is on the Founding Board of the Southeast Ohio Classical Academy.
