Joseph Westendorf is the Local & State History Department Manager for the Cumberland County Public Library in Cumberland County, North Carolina, where he has worked for over four years. He is fascinated by all periods of history, but especially American military history. He is currently guiding his department through an America 250 NC grant, where they are in the process of publishing a book on the Cumberland Association and its signers, along with related research on the American Revolution in Cumberland County.
