Janet Uhlar’s writing imparts accurate history through biographical fiction for those unlikely to read non-fiction. Her research on Joseph Warren and Nathanael Greene began in 1985, culminating in her book and screenplay Liberty’s Martyr, and the book Freedoms’ Cost. She teaches the American Revolution at the Cape Cod Community College. Janet presents lectures and interviews extensively including the Adams and Bunker Hill National Historic Parks; Rhode Island Historical Association; Friends of Valley Forge; Rev250 Boston. Her keynote address on Greene to the General Society of the Sons of the Revolution prompted the placement of Greene’s statue at Valley Forge.
