James M. Deitch is a Pennsylvania native who grew up in Bucks County surrounded by some of the biggest battlefields of the American Revolution. He holds a Master Degree in Military History from Norwich University and is pursuing his doctoral degree. His research is focused on the role of ethnic Germans in the American Revolution and their role in the shaping of the nation. After retiring from the United States Marine Corps as a combat veteran, he focused his attention on military history and all matters related to logistics for the military in combat.
