Author: Charles Hugh Brown

Charles Hugh Brown is a historian and author based in Florida. A graduate of Jacksonville University, where he studied History and Political Science, he has written on the American Revolution in the South, with a special focus on Loyalist experiences. His most recent novel, The Loyal Opposition, explores the life of his ancestor Hugh Brown, a Loyalist officer exiled after the Siege of Ninety Six. Brown is also the author of Master Jones Goes to Washington, a memoir of his time as a congressional page in 1968. A veteran songwriter, his works include a soundtrack to The Loyal Opposition.
