Stephen R. Gilbert is a historian specializing in the American Revolution, American aviation during World War I, and the early years of World War II. His book British Army Officers Who Served in the American Revolution, 1775-1783 (Heritage Books, 2004) was co-written with Steven M. Baule. His articles have been published by Military Collector & Historian, Brigade Dispatch, and the NWTA Courier. Steve teaches high school Social Studies at Rio Community Schools in Rio, Wisconsin. For the last 35 years Steve served In the world of living history with Captain Lewis Dubois’ 4th Company of the 1775 3rd New York Regiment.
